I am an artist who wants to engage with the deep contexts in which objects find themselves when confronted with multiple histories, narrators and iterations.

I am an artist who enjoys traditional craftsmanship and artisanship. Therefore I enjoy engaging with the technical and scientific aspects of the materials.

I am an artist who wants to explore what I find to be most important: class, race and sexuality.

I am an artist who is a moldmaker and caster of images and sculptures. The final work appears as an image first (the conclusion). That work is then cast out of various materials to fit the mental molds. The objects are created from scratch, they are remade in the image of the conclusion, they are found and then cast.

I am an artist who enjoys narrative, and therefore creates through the form of literary narrative that arises first from the base material; its characteristics, metaphors and histories; second from its manipulation (and the reason for manipulation); and lastly to the conclusion which is its final form.

I am an artist who uses the breakdown of images and the meta-image, to understand my place in the world. I am a purveyor of sexual imagery that shows me something about myself, what I value and the complexities of my own pleasure and desire.
